Twin babies found safe almost 2 hours after abduction from Baker's parking lot

UPDATE 9:51 p.m.: Almost two hours after their abduction, the babies were found safe near 33rd and Hartman Streets at about 9:45 p.m.

They were found along with the stolen vehicle, but a man identified by police as a person of interest was not there, Omaha Police Lt. Darci Tierney said on Twitter.

A family member said the babies were sleeping and that they "look good, they look fine."

A very similar incident happened in California a few days ago. In that case a little baby girl a few months old was in a hijacked car, but was left safely with the car in a parking lot.

How horribly frightening for the families.
