Hillary Clinton invades Trump territory in effort to turn Arizona blue

TEMPE, Ariz. — As the presidential race appeared to be tightening in battleground states with only six days to go, Hillary Clinton held a rally Wednesday night in reliably red Arizona.

It was a bold move, perhaps designed to expand the electoral map, that Democrats here cheered and Republicans mocked. And it sparked discussion about whether a lasting Donald Trump effect could help make GOP strongholds like Arizona — and Texas — more competitive.

Just my two cents here, but with all the conjecture about this poll and that poll, would Hillary and her brilliant team spend time in Arizona if Donny was a threat to reaching the magic 270? I think she is in OK territory and either trying to expand the map or attempting to keep Donald in a defensive position with his base.

2. Tim Kaine will be in Pheonix and Tucson Thrus I think--they really

are going for the Latino vote. Something interesting mentioned by R.Maddow tonight.
Hillary camp announced the Tempe AZ visit last Friday--a half hour before Comey released his unprecedented documents dump!! Prior to this the polls in AZ were encouraging--and now this week--the AZ ---a red state dropped in the polls for Hillary.
