Casting notice goes out for new 'up-and-coming' conservative news network
Source: Fox News
Donald Trump denies he is interested in launching a new conservative news venture, but somebody sure is.
What's being billed as an "up-and-coming conservative media network currently in development" is now scouring for hosts, reporters and right-leaning, well-spoken panelists, according to a brand new casting notice obtained Wednesday evening by Fox News.
The notice goes on to say the on-air talent the network wants "must be knowledgeable about conservative viewpoints, current events and the presidential election," adding applicants must also "look upscale and intelligent," and should be "outspoken and energetic."
Auditions are being held at an undisclosed New York City studio on Nov. 7, the eve of Election Day.

(7,217 posts)They left that out!!! How can you have a Reich-wing propaganda factory drawing in the Cheetos-eating reliably angry, paranoid, racists chumps without that?
Because with great cleavage comes great responsibility. Or so I have been told. (Or is it great responsibility comes with great cleavage? So confusing...)

Given opportunity, freedom, and a path forward, Americans will put
these angry nutjobs behind them no matter how good they look
And intelligent they aren't. That will take a while to sink in though.

(18,652 posts)Trump is a horrible businessman so I'm not worried. Now if he gets Koch or Adelson backing, a different story. Let him wildly spend their money, and Trump TV might last a little longer

I hope the pushback is vicious and the enterprise falls flat on its ass.
Of course, it appeals to Trump's constituency--they all look like couch potatoes who stretch out on the cushions with their guns at their sides.

(129,020 posts)and it doesn't have to just be news. He has connections with the sports (wrestling like Hulk Hogan & boxing with Don King & Mike Tyson) and entertainment worlds. It could be something to compete with Fox News but with a broader suite of programming (although Fox has other channels including business and their "FX" channel).
Doesn't mean it will succeed but he'll have an early built-in audience until he works on his next venture (this kind of idiot is a rolling stone that goes from venture to venture to venture to escape the tax man, so when they come knocking and he's bored, he'll move on).

(50,557 posts)1. D cup or larger.
2. Must pass audition: a person playing A Liberal will recite the phrase, "Donald Trump is a tax-evading fascist who belongs in federal prison." The candidate must be able to scream "cut his mike!" at least three times before the "liberal" finishes speaking the word "prison." Extra credit if you get it out at least five times.
3. Must look good in smokey eyes and red lips.
4. Political position to the right of Attila the Hun is required.
5. Must stand outside the door of Trump TV Studio for three days without food or shelter, and will not be admitted to the audition unless she is carrying two black shirts, two pairs of black pants, one pair of combat boots, two pairs of black socks, a black jacket and $300 personal burial money.
