The story does indicate that "The Democratic Coalition Against Trump reported Steve Bannon to the FBI on Tuesday morning after learning that he likely broke campaign finance laws during his time as CEO for the Trump campaign."

Probably nothing inherently false about the article since it is saying it was just a report to the FBI. But I do worry about people who won't read it carefully enough and thereby be mislead. That he was reported to the FBI is interesting enough I suppose, but the real news would be if the FBI took the report seriously and we saw an actual investigation or indictment. I think a lot of stories like these contributed to my feeling that Hillary would win in a landslide and I'm starting to resent the echo chamber I created for myself online.

Were it mine, I certainly would include Fox News on a list of misleading sources. Probably have it top the list actually.

I did not say your post was fake. I also said there was probably nothing inherently false about the article. I do, however, believe it is hyping something that can be easily glossed over in the detail by a casual reader and raise hopes that finally justice may be done. In that way, the story is somewhat misleading in making it sound like a bigger deal than it most likely is.
