Kanye West Hospitalized After Canceling Tour: Sources
Source: NBC
Kanye West was under observation at a Los Angeles area hospital late Monday after the remaining dates of his national tour were abruptly canceled, multiple authorities familiar with the case told NBC News.
The admission followed a week of bizarre incidents during which the provocative rapper publicly railed against fellow music stars Beyoncé and Jay Z and retroactively endorsed President-elect Donald Trump.
A source familiar with the case said Los Angeles police responded to a medical welfare call about 1:20 p.m. (4:20 p.m. ET). No criminal activity was involved; the decision to hospitalize West was for his own health and safety, the sources said.

(14,971 posts)but it's being reported he's in the psych ward at UCLA. I've heard rumors he's bi-polar , don't know if it's true, though.

(16,954 posts)her ordeal. She used to go with him on tour, and apparently he is missing her and worried while he's gone.
I know he's always borderline bizarre, but sleep deprivation is no joke.

(18,652 posts)He is clearly batshit crazy on drugs so he could do anything. I don't know why the gorgeous rich Kardashian women can't select a decent man.

(90,714 posts)I don't follow the Kardashians or Kanye, but there was a really moving column in the LA Times that caught my eye, about the estranged husband of one of the Kardashians being critically injured, how she rushed to his side in great reality tv drama, and vowed to see him restored to health... The columnist said getting hooked up with the Kardashians in the first place had been the ruination of the poor man, and he didn't hold out much hope for his prospects if his wife returned to take control of his life.
Sorry if I've got the wrong pair, but when I read here about Kanye having public meltdowns, I remembered that.

Lamar Odom is an ex-Laker during their last championship run and I started watching the Kardashians years ago when their wedding was talked about a lot in the Los Angeles/Orange County area, so I started watching because of that. I mostly watch now because I like to see where they film around here -- I recognize many of the film locations and like to see what restaurants they go to. I feel like I have to confess why I watch them.... My husband grumbles whenever he sees the recordings on the VCR...
I actually have to hand it to the mother, Kris Jenner. She has built quite a media empire. Good for her!

(16,954 posts)And I meant DVR since I haven't had a VCR for about 10 years.
It is a guilty pleasure though since I don't know too many people who watch it.
