Trump Dossier Spy 'Terrified' for Life

Source: The Daily Beast

The former British spy who has been named as the author of the lurid dossier about Donald Trump that was published by BuzzFeed News this week has fled his home and is “terrified for his safety,” fearing reprisals from Moscow. Christopher Steele, 52, fled from his home near London on Wednesday morning, leaving his cat with a neighbor who was told he would be away “for a few days.” Steele, who worked in Moscow for the Secret Intelligence Service in the 1990s, prepared the 35-page document that alleges the Kremlin colluded with Trump’s presidential campaign staff and that Russian security services have material that could be used to blackmail the President-elect. Meanwhile, Yahoo News reported that Steele has connections to U.S. law enforcement, having worked as a consultant for the FBI’s Eurasian organized-crime section, helping to develop information about ties between suspected Russian gangsters and FIFA.

I would have to look this up, but one russian dissident dropped dead during jogging. Just dropped dead. Seemingly natural causes. Until they did an autopsy and found a weird toxic compound in his stomach that can only be found in a rare tibetan plant.

He has access and means to get guns and/or vanish. Even if he is no longer employed by mi6 he likely has myriad of contacts he developed during his career.

They should, a former spy should get some kind of protection knowing how easily Putin can get to people.
