Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted this morning that President Trump is right to want to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border:

And as Haaretz points out, Trump invoked Israel in speaking with Sean Hannity about his plan:

“The wall is necessary. That’s not just politics, and yet it is good for the heart of the nation in a certain way because people want protection, and a wall protects. All you have to do is ask Israel. They were having a total disaster coming across, and they had a wall. It’s 99.9 percent stoppage. A proper wall.”

Despite Netanyahu being an asshole, it is just as disgusting to see anti-Semitic rhetoric crop up anytime he is mentioned, such as "Netanyahu speaks for America." Some people are obsessed with the anti-Semitic trope of "Jews running America" and I fail to see how they are any less bigoted than assholes like the current "president" who wants to "make America great again" at the expense of minorities and the poor.

You don't really hear a lot of people calling for us to return Texas, New Mexico, and California for some reason.

Incidentally, the US killed more people in a year and half of that conflict than Israel has in its entire 60+ year existence.
