Trump ripped Mexico in tweet while Kushner was meeting with Mexican officials: report

Source: The Hill

BY NIKITA VLADIMIROV - 02/11/17 11:47 AM EST

President Trump took to Twitter to slam Mexico over his border wall proposal while top advisor Jared Kushner was meeting with Mexican officials about a potential state visit, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Trump's tweet abruptly ended Kushner's negotiations in the White House, the report said. Kushner is Trump's son-in-law and a White House senior advisor.

"The U.S. has a 60 billion dollar trade deficit with Mexico. It has been a one-sided deal from the beginning of NAFTA with massive numbers ... of jobs and companies lost. If Mexico is unwilling to pay for the badly needed wall, then it would be better to cancel the upcoming meeting," Trump said in a pair of tweets on Jan. 26.

Shortly after the tweet, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto cancelled a planned visit to the U.S. "This morning we have informed the White House that I will not attend the meeting scheduled for next Tuesday with the POTUS," Peña Nieto tweeted.

The two leaders have still not met one another since Trump won the 2016 election.

old people in apartment buildings he wants to throw them out of to make into condos, or since he has been able to push around contractors and vendors by not paying them, or employees by abusing them and not paying them, that he can do the same with world leaders.

He is a menace to the existence of the human race, as is every person who voted for him and still supports him.

Will be his undoing. Every day he has another weird tweet or totalitarian order. We cannot let this administration stand. It is good to see veterans at standing rock.

Dear World,

There are a lot of us who spend our days cringing over this obnoxious turd. Unfortunately, there are enough knuckle-dragging idiots to put this creep within thieving distance of the Oval Office.

Please make it stop!!!

between China and Mexico..I'm sure that China will cut them a better trade and defense agreement than trump.

Boarder wall won't stop an invasion of troops from China across the Rio Grande.

... only it involved the Japanese Ambassador and Cordell Hull ...

"Nomura and Saburo Kurusa arrived at the State Department at 1405 and were shown to a diplomatic waiting room. At that point President Franklin D. Roosevelt telephoned Hull with the news that the attack on Pearl Harbor had begun. At 1420 the Japanese entered Hull's office and handed him their message, which Hull had already seen, and the American made a show of reading it. When Nomura tried to speak, Hull stopped him with an upheld hand, told him that he, Hull, had always spoken the truth and that the Japanese had responded with lies and waved his visitors from the room." ...

... sooooo, the tRumps are students of History, no? ...

... ahhhhhhhhhhh ... no ...
