Donald Trump told he won't escape the 'biggest protest in British history' by moving his state visit
Source: The Independent
Donald Trumps state visit will be greeted by the biggest anti-racism protest in British history no matter where in the country the Government moves it to, campaigners have said.
Local politicians and activists in Birmingham reacted with anger to suggestions that the trip could be relocated to their city and pledged to flood the streets with protesters to greet the hateful President.
The idea of moving the protest to avoid demonstrations in London has reportedly been suggested to the White House, with a rally at the National Exhibition Centre apparently on the cards.

Owen Jones, writer and co-founder of the group, said: Donald Trumps state visit will be marked by the biggest protest against racism and hatred in our countrys history.

The group Jones is referring to is the Stop Trump Coalition, formed after last month's anti-Trump protests across the UK. The article says it "enjoys support from Labour, SNP, Green and Liberal Democrat MPs as well as the general secretaries of major trade unions, including Unison, GMB, FBU, RMT, and the TUC," and journalists and celebrities.

As a side note, how much did the state visit (Japanese) cost the taxpayers when you played around of golf with the Japanese Prime Minister and had him and his family stay there, instead of them staying at the Washington Embassy. How much did your Mar A Lago enterprise profit off that state visit.....................

(9,426 posts)Money is no object now that he is spending taxpayer funds. His nude model "wife" flies in separately from NY, too. The Japanese couple were disrespected during their visit. No first lady to accompany the Japanese First Lady on a tour of DC. No president to be with the Japanese president at the Tomb of the Unknown, to lay a wreath. Low class, fake rich grifters is all the tRump family is. The nude model is not the only one in that family that lacks CLASS.

(5,730 posts)them special and made the visit interesting for them. Fun. He would have been a great ambassador. The Trumps acted like they had more important things to do...insecure, rude, really don't have it together enough to do this job. DT doesn't even have staff around him who are sharp enough to try to compensate.

It's not a wig, not a toupee (because the top front appears to run both forward and back at the same time, without any rooting or part).
With so much WTFery running around, this tiny, superficial thing shouldn't bother me, but it does a little.

And it's a large city with lots of people who don't like Trump, especially since he said that it was a no-go area due to all the eeeevil Muslims (ironic that he's now thinking of going there!)
