Ex-Navy SEAL congressman: Trump and intel community need to get on the same page 'very quickly'

Source: Politico

A GOP Congressman said Monday morning that President Donald Trump and the intelligence community that he leads “need to get on the same page very quickly” amid simmering concerns about national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Rep. Scott Taylor’s comments to CNN’s “New Day” come as Flynn is under fire for reportedly discussing a reprieve from American sanctions with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S. before Trump was sworn into office. Asked by The Washington Post if he had had such a discussion, Flynn repeatedly said no but then backed away from that denial via a spokesman, who said Flynn did not recall discussion sanctions but could not be sure that the topic was not raised.

Taylor (R-Va.), a former Navy SEAL, said he did not have any information on Fynn’s situation beyond what was being reported in the media and that the degree to which he is alleged to have acted inappropriately would depend greatly on what specifically he said.

The sanctions reportedly discussed by Flynn were imposed last December by former President Barack Obama, punishment for Russia’s interference into the U.S. presidential election last year. Despite the intelligence community’s assessment that Russia was to blame for the wave of election-year cyberattacks, Trump was for months reluctant to concede the point. The president was even more unwilling to accept the intelligence community’s assessment that the Kremlin had launched those attacks with the specific goal of aiding Trump’s candidacy.

that if Trump didn't fire Flynn, then Flynn has something on him.

I don't believe that necessarily. Trump is a CEO. He knows numbers, and
issues orders. I doubt he's very aware of the conflicts and ethical concerns.
CEO's simply surround themselves with people who will do what they want.

received the info. Alternatively, Trump may be afraid that sacking Flynn would be a public acknowledgement of the Rosnef quid-pro-quo and would lay the groundwork for impeachment. Coward-in-chief slso knows that Papa Putin has some rather unsavory ways of exacting green get if he doesn't get what he paid for.

at his infomercial for the Washington Trump Hotel opening (which he duped the media into covering by creating the false impression that he would announce his VP pick) should be grilled over the unfolding story of his traitorous entanglements with Russia, as well as their rationale for endorsing such a racist, corrupt incompetent in the first place.

7. Hey Taylor, get on the same f**king page
Mon Feb 13, 2017, 10:50 AM

so in other words you support a traitor(s) you know someone (s) going around with there own f***ing agenda of greed, talking and going into intelligence briefings and the country has a a big question on there collective mind, has this twit and his lackeys given a free pass and intelligence to a dictator that likes to murder people and suppress people, because after all he was from the FSB & GRU that likes to sit down and have borsh and cakes at a table , and while they are at it don't give one s***t about the collective country called the United States, but that green back called money to build towers, and is now as we speak bilking the taxpayers when he brings heads of state to his resort to have a round of golf and coffee, instead of in the white House state dinner functions dining room, tell me what page this is on?

So you also think that when a strongman with a self centered corrupt agenda likes to invade a country that this is alright, just because they threw out a self aligning dictator a corrupt one at that , and the citizens of the country wanted a democratically elected government looking out for there needs and protection, wanted to join NATO for a reason, that your right wing fascists should get on the same page to commit treason, well I got a answer for you:

FU and the horse you road in on, you conservatives are all the same, its about greed and how to RAT f*** people over.

This country d**khead had a tainted election not only from the states that think voting should only be for one party and make citizens into common criminals for wanting to vote (your right wing fascist party called , get this, hold on, republicans, yep republicans RAT F**king state districts and laws), your Rat F**king party and the state actor (Russia) that hacked political servers and last but not least, let's add a Director of a the FBI sticking his two cents in because of political partisanship, just like Hoover use to do, and your saying your corrupt party needs to get on the same page, well, hasn't your party done enough damage, with the page they are on?

So again, FU and the horse you road in on

Treason is Treason

11. "Getting on the same page" will translate into a cover-up.

The intel community, NO DOUBT, has information that shows Trumpy as a co-collaborater with Flynn in co-ordinating campaign efforts last year. The Steele dossier says that Trumpy HAS BEEN COMPROMISED, and that this part of the dossier has been corroborated by the intelligence community.

Taylor's statements are providing cover for Trumpy.

One more thing. The press is all agog over anyone who a former Navy SEAL. It supposed to lend additional authority for anything the person says. Because a vet is a former Navy SEAL doesn't bestow upon them the seal of infallibility. Any vet, especially those who've seen combat, are susceptible to distortions in their perceptions due to trauma, as well as any prejudicial experiences both before and after serving in the military. They're just people for God's sake! They're just as malleable to manipulation as anyone else.

Taylor says that he doesn't have any information on Flynn other than what's reported in the media. Really? That's not a hell of a lot. Other Congress people are urgently telling their colleagues to investigate and RELEASE the devastating intelligence evidence that is thus far held secret. Taylor's playing stupid.
