Trump: Well be tweaking NAFTA

President Trump on Monday said his administration will be “tweaking” the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) in a way that will be a boon for both the United States and Canada.

During a joint press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, a Canadian reporter asked Trump if the country can expect big or small changes to the trade agreement and how it relates to Canada.

“We’ll be tweaking it,” Trump said at Monday’s press conference. “We’ll be doing certain things that are going to benefit both of our countries."

"Our relationship with Canada is outstanding,” he added.

and their border is even more attractive for terrorists looking to enter the US, but for some reason Dump loves Canadians and hates Mexicans. Can't imagine why that is.

The US runs a trade surplus with Canada.

39 states have Canada as their largest trading partner. A handful more have Canada as second or third.

7. A big reason for our deficit with Mexico is the strength of the dollar vs the peso

And the growth of the middle class in Mexico keeps more of their citizens there instead of coming to the US for better opportunities. More middle class Mexicans also means a bigger Market for American goods. There are still immigrants coming THROUGH Mexico from Central America, but migration by Mexicans has been negative since 2008. Of course, Trump probably sees all brown faces as "Mexican" and "illegal".
