Republican senators call for investigation into Flynn ties to Russia

Washington (CNN)The Senate's second-ranking Republican and other GOP senators are calling for an investigation into former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn's discussions with the Russian ambassador, building on a string of investigations underway on Russian interference in the US elections.

Sen. John Cornyn told reporters Tuesday that the Senate standing committees with oversight of intelligence need to investigate Flynn.

Asked by CNN if he wanted the Senate's standing committees to investigate Flynn, Cornyn replied: "Yes."

But Cornyn, the Senate majority whip, was not ready to say Flynn should testify before Congress.

4. Flynn must testify before Congress UNDER OATH!

Either that, or we immunize the bastard and start asking questions about Trump - who is the real prize here.

I'd be willing to let Flynn slither off into infamy if it means we can get enough hard evidence against Trump that even the Republicans agree he needs to be removed from office.
