Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) on Sunday called for Republicans to put in "a lot of work" to fix problems with their bill to repeal Obamacare instead of "trying to rush to some arbitrary deadline."
"I simply think that it's not going to work to bring down premiums for working Arkansans and working Americans all across the country," Cotton said on CNN's "State of the Union."
He called on Republicans to resolve issues with the legislation instead of trying to rush it through.
"It's fixable, but it's going to take a lot of work," Cotton said. "And we need to roll up our sleeves and focus on fixing those problems rather than trying to rush to some arbitrary deadline."

(23,166 posts)Tom Cotton just showed some concern for the working people of America, Repugs just don't do that, at least not based on reality. They usually just gin up fear and use that to hurt their constituents, other than the rich. The rich they bleed for and make sure they get all the goodies taken away from working class folks. Good for Cotton, guess even broken clocks are right twice a day.

(7,358 posts)the ACA so that premiums stayed high and that there was no negotiation on drug prices. They are so full of shit. This was Romney Care folks, a Heritage Foundation creation that was adapted by the Obama administration. Cotton is such a dork.
