Trump son-in-law met with U.S. sanctioned Russian bank; will testify

Source: Reuters

By Steve Holland and Patricia Zengerle | WASHINGTON

A Russian bank under U.S. economic sanctions over Russia's incursion into Ukraine disclosed on Monday that its executives had met Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law and a top White House adviser, during the 2016 election campaign.

Kushner, 36, married to Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump, has agreed to testify to a Senate committee investigating whether Russia tried to interfere in the election.

Allegations by U.S. intelligence agencies that Russian actors were behind hacking of senior Democratic Party operatives and spreading disinformation linger over Trump's young presidency. Democrats charge the Russians wanted to tilt the election toward the Republican, a claim dismissed by Trump. Russia denies the allegations.

But there has been no doubt that the Russian ambassador to the United States, Sergei Kislyak, developed contacts among the Trump team. Trump's first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, was forced to resign on Feb. 13 after revelations that he had discussed U.S. sanctions on Russia with Kislyak and misled Vice President Mike Pence about the conversations.

more bullshit than money. Barnum blazed the trail for many like him.

In Washington,it is all about the Cocktail Circuit and the same goes for New York.

What I'am waiting for is, for these two to cash the Checks they wrote.

He should not be the de facto President.

He hasn't a clue what to do about anything.

From today's Democracy Now.

"The Washington Post is reporting President Trump plans to unveil a new White House office today, which will be run by his son-in-law and senior advisor, Jared Kushner
The Post reports the White House Office of American Innovation will be staffed by former business executives who will be given wide-reaching authority to overhaul federal bureaucracy and even privatize some of the government's functions.
On Sunday, Kushner told the Post, The government should be run like a great American company....Our hope is that we can achieve successes and efficiencies for our customers, who are the citizens."

Creating a new office and making his family in charge. Giving his daughter an office and top security clearance. Where is the outrage by the American public?
