President Donald Trumps children are worried that reports on chaos inside the White House will hurt the family brand and have been pushing for changes, according to a Wednesday night Washington Post report.
Per the Post:
The fundamental assessment is that if they want to win the White House in 2020, theyre not going to do it the way they did in 2016, because the family brand would not sustain the collateral damage, said one well-connected Republican operative, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss the presidents family. It would be so protectionist, nationalist and backward-looking that theyd only be able to build in Oklahoma City or the Ozarks.
Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, have been battling with White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, per the Washington Post. Bannons removal from the National Security Councils Principals Committee has been followed by a flood of reports indicating that Bannons influence in the White House has decreased and that hes been at odds with Kushner and other Trump aides.

(81,312 posts)If so, that would be rather satisfying. Not as good as prison-for-all, but if it hurts their brand - especially if it DEEPLY wounds their brand, that would be some sweet comeuppance. Because you KNOW that's all this crime family really cares about. How much money they can rake in, from ANY "opportunity" of ANY sort that they think presents itself.
This is a CLASSIC grifter family if EVER I've seen one.

(17,444 posts)their bankruptcy is the worst thing that comes out of the WH chaos. I wouldn't mind that being the case at all. That's the least of my worries.
Ah, the one percent's problems. Environment, war, human rights, economy, to name a few, aren't worrying trump's kids.

(8,964 posts)The chaos that Trump generates on a daily basis is manifest on a global scale. I try to stay optimistic, but I fear that it will only be getting worse. As for the concerned trio of spoiled kids, the biblical reference to reaping what one sows would be good study material at this point.
