Suspicious device left at Olympia school destroyed; surveillance video released (WA State)

OLYMPIA, Wash. - Bomb technicians destroyed a device Friday that prompted the evacuation of a Thurston County elementary school. Meanwhile, law enforcement released a video clip of the man who may have left the suspicious device at the school.
Bomb technicians from the Washington State Patrol destroyed the device about 2 p.m. Friday. Bomb-sniffing dogs also were being used to search the school.
The Thurston County Sheriff's Office says Pleasant Glade Elementary was initially placed on lockdown Friday morning after the man dropped off the package at the front desk. He said it was a bomb and that additional devices had been placed aorund the school, The Olympian reported. Shortly afterward, the school was evacuated without incident.
No other devices were found
