Trump suggests the media are favoring Democratic candidates in special elections

President Donald Trump called out the media on Sunday, suggesting in a tweet that they are favoring Democratic candidates in special elections in two states.

"The recent Kansas election (Congress) was a really big media event, until the Republicans won. Now they play the same game with Georgia-BAD!" Trump saidin the tweet.

Republican Congressional candidate Ron Estes won a special election for an empty House seat in Kansas on Tuesday.

The election was widely viewed as an early indicator of Republican fortunes in the 2018 midterm elections, and somewhat of a referendum on the early days of the Trump presidency.

if the BFEE was behind 45's election shenanigans, for the purpose of rehabilitating W's legacy.

Nah. They all suck.

His incompetence is what is favoring Democrats in special elections.

No. 45 has never taken responsibility for anything he has said or done. It's always someone else's fault. The media gave him hundreds of millions of dollars worth of free advertising during the campaign. They treated him as a joke candidate ... but their hourly news reports on his lying, racism, misogyny, xenophobia ... all of it ... got the attention of that group of people often called his "base" ... and now, he's still getting media attention for the same behaviors, but it's critical attention. As Prexy, he doesn't understand that there is a standard he should live up to, even if he doesn't believe in the standard itself. So yes, a media outlet that abides by professional journalism standards, is likely to be perceived as leaning a little left ... but only because Trump is so far right. His so-called base, it would seem, are finding members actually beginning to defect insofar as even his supporters realize something is amiss. Republican voters are beginning to realize that most of his campaign promises were either (1) outright lies (e.g., prosecuting Hillary Clinton), or (2) based on personal vendetta (repealing anything and everything Pres. Obama accomplished, regardless of merit or success [the Affordable Care Act]). A significant majority of American voters have realized that the ACA is successful, and that a great number of subscribers are Republicans. He still wants to repeal it despite the massive outcry at almost all town hall meetings nation wide. Local elections are beginning to reflect this, as indicated by the Kansas result and the projection for Georgia coming up. He blames the media for doing their job: reporting what the President (sic) of the United States says and does as accurately as possible.

in these elections. I'm so sick of their whining. Trump's tweets are garbage too. He is just some idiot who managed to get elected president because he's got money. There's no wisdom in anything he has to say, ever. We might as well have one of the Kardashian's as president. They'd probably be more likable.

aren't high profile Democrats saying the opposite about the media. We all know the MSM was silent on key issues like the ACA, some on the Keystone Pipeline, etc., etc. The media has a conservative bias if any!

Why aren't we fighting back on this old myth?
