Trump executive order could undo designation of national monuments

Source: The Hill

President Trump will sign an executive order on Wednesday instructing the Department of the Interior to review the designations of national monuments by his predecessors, apparently targeting monuments designated by former President Obama late in his term.

Trump’s order will instruct the Secretary of the Interior to examine those designations to see whether or not they were within the scope of a century-old law that allows presidents to set aside federal lands without congressional approval.

The executive order is mainly geared towards reviewing former President Obama’s designation of Bears Ears National Monument in Utah in December, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. The 1.35-million acre site was preserved due to its Native American heritage, but critics say Obama’s designation was an overreach of executive power.

Trump’s order to review the monument designations will come as part of a broader series of executive orders on energy and the environment, which follows his signing of an executive order that began undoing Obama’s climate change agenda.

Obama Derangement Syndrome in the worst way. If Obama saved a little girl on Fifth Avenue from being run down by a speeding taxi, Trump would be out there throwing that little girl into traffic.

Signing an executive order might be nothing more than an empty gesture for the Deplorables.

Then the country has that pathos ass**** Orrin Hatch, Jason Chaffetz, and Mike Lee.

This is a snip it of this jerk(s) Hatch(s) remarks, note this is a white mans attitude of Manifest Destiny

" For his part, Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, has pressed Trump for action on the Bears Ears declaration and visited the area last week.

"For years, I have fought every step of the way to ensure that our lands are managed by the (sic) Utahns [who] know them best and cherish them deeply," Hatch said in a statement Sunday night. "That's why I'm committed to rolling back the egregious abuse of the Antiquities Act to serve far-left special interests. As part of this commitment, I have leveraged all of my influence — from private meetings in the Oval Office in the president's first week in office to my latest trip to Bears Ears this week — to ensure that this issue is a priority on the president's agenda."

Not once does this white haired egoistical ass**** say anything about Indigenous People(s) Rights to to this sacred land, not once, but he references Utahn's and there rights there racist rights to go after the Act to protect Indigenous Peoples history, he really is a Morman racists, making $223,000 a year to be a full fledged Senate racsist, speaking with a nother bigot and racsist playing golf at a private resort.
This and the other two ass**** think that it's just fine and dandy for Utahan's to desecrate scared burial and religious sites with all terrain vehicles, and to destroy those sites for white mans fun and to sell it off, and don't have the "core" conservationist at the table like the Paiute to discuss this issue ---------------------nope, instead he goes to the sexual predator, that's right a sexual predator that has committed fraud and possibly with all arrows pointing to TREASON

FU Hatch and the horse you road in on, whens was the "last time you had a town hall?

Useless ditch in a worthless part of the state. And Mt. Rushmore, highest bidder gets to add his face to those long dead presidents and that silly sprouting thing - Old Faithful - hook a cappuccino machine on to it to get a few bucks selling some lattes to the tourists.

He stopped White House tours (last I heard) and fired all the docents.

Then we get a report from one of those rednecks he hosted how Trump "knew the story of every stick of furniture and painting"... So that's what he's been doing when not golfing - leafing through drapery catalogs and researching the history of the fucking White House furniture.

I get the impression he thinks all that stuff is his now and likes to show it off like he owns it.

Native American rights and beliefs don't matter didley-squat to rTrump. Especially if they get in the way of his personal Manifest Destiny.

It sure seems like an awful lot of what Trump and Republicans are doing boils down to them deliberately eradicating all the work and trying to tear apart the legacy of the well liked and respected black president.

They're jealous, racist, fascist buttwipes who can't stand that Obama handily won two elections and that he's still one of the most progressive, liked and respected presidents we've had in decades.
