Lebanon Seeks to Ban 'Wonder Woman'

Lebanon is seeking to ban the new Wonder Woman movie because its lead actress, Gal Gadot, is an Israeli — a reflection of how the decades-old animosity between the two neighbors is also infused in the cultural scene.

A security official said a formal request for a ban has not yet been received.

A ban would require a recommendation from a six-member committee from the Ministry of Economy, a process that has not yet began, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to reporters.

7. They certainly did great with their casting.

In the comics, Superman described her as maybe not the most beautiful woman in the world (he was biased toward Lois), but the most compelling.
I don't see her sexually, strange as it may seem. She's gorgeous. But when I was watching BvS, I was watching her fight Doomsday and my jaw was on the floor at how well she was fighting. She took a lot of solid hits, and stood up every time and went back into the fray. She's amazing. Did way more than Batman (though, to be fair, he was 100% out classed).

I can't wait to see the WW stand alone movie.
