President Trump doubled down on his attack against the mayor of London Monday, saying the mayor had to "think fast" to come up with an excuse for his comments after the terror attack in the city this past weekend.

Trump first hit the mayor in a tweet Sunday in the aftermath of the attack that left at least seven dead and nearly 50 wounded.

"At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is 'no reason to be alarmed!'" Trump tweeted.

Khan told London residents to not be alarmed by an increased police presence in the city after the attack.

There was no need to 'think' or find an 'excuse' for Khan, or to 'sell it' for the media. Khan's original statement was clear; he said don't be alarmed by more armed police visible in London. Trump may or may not have realised that the first time he shat out a tweet; but it was clearly explained to him, and to continue to bullshit now is completely inexcusable.

He's using a terrorist attack to shore up his own narcissistic insecurities, since he has such psychological problems that he can't admit he was wrong, or even just let it go. Seriously, this should be part of the evidence for a 25th amendment intervention. He is psychologically unfit for the presidency.

Here's the context as I understand it. In response to Drumpf's earlier tweet, the mayor tweeted he had better things to do than respond.

So Drumpf being Drumpf, doubled down, congruent with his epic narcissism, by demeaning the spiteful mayor.

The tweet's content is meaningless dribble. I read it as "I'm an angry miserable minority baiting narcissist".

An added plus - it appeals to his equally angry, miserable minority baiting American core supporters.

On a tangent and offered as opinion only, it helps explain a core supporter's loyalty to me. They love having a fellow miserable incompetent person (like them) in power, who can force other more respectable people, those who would otherwise openly mock this misfit orange sociopath, to bend to his will. He justifies their shitty behavior and position in life, and vice versa. The disappointing thing is how numerous this group is.

The Dems should try throwing a monkey wrench into that love affair. He's just out to screw them anyway.
