Boy Critical After Tiger Attack At Zoo

A three-year boy is in a critical condition after being mauled by a tiger at a roadside zoo in Russia.

The tiger was tied to a post behind a small fence when the attack happened at the zoo in Blagoveshchensk, in Russia's Amur region.

A man who was shown on Russian television inside the tiger's enclosure said he tried to stop the attack.

"I hit it (the tiger) with a stick, there was a metal thing on it. But it clutched the kid very tight," he said.

23. It's animal abuse. The abuser ought to be sued/punished

and the Amur tiger set free. The abuser/profiteer should have to pay the boy's medical expenses or funeral expenses and restitution to the family. Of course he won't. Tigers are endangered. This ought to be international law. But of course it is not.

The tiger will be punished for being - a tiger. On top of the abuse of being tied up to a damn post at an effing roadside for the amusement and profit of humans.

A girl wanted her photo taken next to a tiger. A tiger attacked her and killed her. The case was featured on Fatal Attractions (Animal Planet).
