Pro-Trump group's health care offensive warns GOP senators to get in line

Source: Politico

The effort is aimed at both punishing Sen. Dean Heller and at swaying his vote, and it is a stunning act of political retaliation against a member of the president’s own party.

A new campaign by top White House allies targeting the GOP’s most vulnerable senator over health care sends a loud message to those resistant to the Trump agenda: We’re coming after you.

America First Policies, a White House-backed outside group led by the president’s top campaign advisers, has launched a $1 million attack against Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nev.), who on Friday announced that he opposed the Senate’s recently unveiled Obamacare repeal plan.

So, what to think? The repubs eating their own. Should we just let them? Will Heller cave? He's not in a good place. I admit not knowing much about him, but wonder if he would be good prospect for a party switch.

any morals. He has voted hook, line, and sinker with the GOP on everything.

Now he is vulnerable because he is up for re-election in 2018 and there are many in Nevada covered under the Medicaid expansion. He is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't regarding the Trump-Don't-Care health care vote.

Any Republican Senator who votes for this piece of shit legislation regardless how their constituents oppose this, deserve to be protested and voted out of office. TAKING AWAY access to health insurance and services will not be forgotten so easily.

to make up their own minds, to not follow the crowd. "If all the rest of the kids jumped off a cliff, would you jump too?"

Then we see Republicans harass and chastise one of their own because he thinks for himself.

It must suck being a Republican parent. "Son, if all the rest of the kids jumped off a cliff, would you jump too?"

"Of course, Dad. We're Republicans."

"Good boy."
