3. While I applaud the motives here

Our world will never be nuclear weapon free, at least in our lifetime, and assuming we don't destroy ourselves first.

At some point during disarmament, the waging of nuclear war becomes a winnable conflict. Just having 1 or 2 or 10 weapons becomes a conflict that will destroy your enemies, and won't obliterate you at the same time.
