Where the fuck were you when it really mattered?
Sucking on the CNN money hose, that's where..

Another point...He said several times "MY PARTY."....It just occurred to me..some/many? people, on all sides, seem to talk about a political party like -- I mean they call it.. "MY PARTY." Like it's a ...club, or something.. I'm sure, now, folks here as well....

Jeeze,, I just can not imagine that... Don't get me wrong. I am a registered Democrat and always voted for and supported, donated to Democrats, and have worked for several over the past few decades.... but.. I guess I just never thought of it that way and just woke up to the concept that other people DO identify that way... interesting....

Maybe I should re-think myself...

Humm,, just thinking about that... It's like MY TEAM, I guess.. Are the BATAVIA MUCKDOGS 'my team?" Humm...

Anyway, Joe, sort of..better late than never...I guess....Oh, i wish you wouldn't interrupt Mika so often on your TV entertainment show..

He sees the ratings going to us liberals and had to do this for his show's long term popularity. I wish people like Rex Tillerson, who I believe only became Secretary of State to get the Exxon Russia deal through, will see that ship has already sailed now and resign. There will come a flood of politicians trying to avoid the toxic soup that the Republican brand will represent.

under Gingrich. They were the Tea Party of their day. So only in a context where the alt-right denounces protesters as "anti-fa" (anti-fascist), indicating they accept the label of fascist, can he be considered a moderate.

I think of moderate Republicans as like Susan Collins.

Compared with how wacko Republicans got in the last decade, he's a liberal! To the far right, he is a liberal.

Been watching him for years. He is moderate, IMO. Not on all issues, maybe, but overall.

Please someone post the story once it airs tonight. I don't have cable. Would love to hear what he has to say. I hope many more Republicans will follow his lead. Yes he was a bit annoying at times before, but it takes courage to stand up to his own party. I applaud him for doing what he did.

What America needs more than anything is for prominent Republicans to work from within the party to change it, and say Trump must go. Now, he may have shed his last connection to the deplorables. Some may have given him at least a shred of credibility and learned something, that not all Republicans are Trumpublicans. Now it may be the excuse many need to shut him off and call him a traitor fake news spreader.
