Trump Impeachment Odds Spike After Donald Trump Jr.s Russia Emails

Source: Fortune

Donald Trump Jr. left many speechless when he shared his full email exchange with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya that led to a meeting during his father’s presidential campaign in 2016.

While some are accusing Trump Jr. of collusion, others are getting out their wallets: PaddyPower, an Ireland-based betting site, has seen more users placing bets on President Trump being impeached before the end of his first term, bringing the site's total odds of the President being shuffled out of the White House by 2021 up to 60%—the highest it’s ever been, according to company spokesperson Lee Price.

"[President Donald Trump] had gone quiet over the last month, and we were starting to wonder if he might have ridden out the initial controversies – but he’s back with a bang today,” Price wrote in an email to Fortune Wednesday.

Not only are PaddyPower bettors increasingly putting their money on Trump being impeached before his first term is over, but they are also betting on him being impeached as soon as this year, bringing those odds up to 33.3%. That's despite the fact that impeachment proceedings are usually lengthy.

while Don Conleone does his best to turn the US into an authoritarian regime, the WP, NYT and others are busy saving our asses--at a time of historic low subscriptions.

would probably toss a few fake votes to impeach knowing that they just simply have to arrange to have it fail by one vote to keep him in office.

May not be a good idea:

Pence or Ryan would be worse. They are just as evil. But they are smart enough to know how evil and stupid they are. They would do deception better. They would be smart enough to shut the fuck up about what they are doing and what they have done.

Impeach fatasstrump and the first cry from GOP will be: Well, now we have that Russian election meddling thing fixed. No need for Mueller, congressional or senate investigations. Move on. Nothing to see here.

Let the GOP wear this soul-dead dumbass around their neck until America gets a better option. After 2018? Pence and Trump would have to fall together. Maybe the best thing is a brain dead and corrupt piece of shit stay in office. Please tell me better options.

is not likely at all to be supported by the Repugnants unless he refuses to obey orders and signs what they tell him to sign when they tell him to sign it.

amendment impeachment is the sole way you can legally remove a sitting President until the next election and knowing the Repugants they would coordinate the voting so that it was fall just short of impeachment in an effort to try and appease their base as well as many of the independents as possible.

Trump could appoint Putin to a high level job in his administration (hell he already has in a way) and not be impeached
Trump will resign first to save face and his brand. Republicans will not allow themselves to be the villains of the GOP by Impeachment.

Perhaps Republicans fear a revolution by the 36%ers

If Trump fires special prosecutor Bob Mueller Republicans will find excuses to protect him..the firing excuse will probably be conflict of interest because of Mueller's ties toConey..This idea was floated by the Right Wingnuts a couple weeks ago.
