PARIS (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said the wall he wants to build on the 2,000-mile (3,200-km) U.S.-Mexico frontier may not need to cover the entire border because of existing natural barriers, according to remarks released by the White House on Thursday.

On a flight to Paris from Washington, Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One: "You have mountains. You have some rivers that are violent and vicious. You have some areas that are so far away that you don't really have people crossing. "But you'll need anywhere from 700 to 900 miles."

Trump also told reporters on the plane it was important that border agents and others should be able to see through the wall so they could be aware of oncoming dangers.

"As horrible as it sounds, when they throw the large sacks of drugs over, and if you have people on the other side of the wall, you don't see them. They hit you on the head with 60 pounds of stuff? It's over," Trump said.

There would be enough openings to allow border patrol to see the flying bags of drugs coming. And, since height varies among people, the distance the drugs actually have to drop would be less lethal. Though some 60 pounds of drugs throwers might not be able to clear the heads of hand-holders over 6 feet. (none of this has to make sense, people) Their feet would be another story. They can all wear steel-toed shoes made in America with steel from someplace else.

The human hand-holder wall volunteers can chant things like USA! USA! and Red rover, red rover don't send your 60 pounds of drugs over. (place through my legs instead but please don't hit me in the head)
