Majority uneasy about Trump's ability to handle N. Korea: poll

Source: The Hill

Most Americans say they are uneasy about President Trump's ability to handle the nuclear threat from North Korea, according to a new survey.

A CBS News poll found 61 percent of respondents question Trump's ability to handle Pyongyang, while just about one-third, 35 percent, have confidence in the president.

The poll also found that 72 percent of respondents are uneasy about a possible conflict with North Korea, compared with 26 percent who say tensions will be resolved.

A majority of respondents, 60 percent, thinks North Korea's weapons development program can be contained. But 29 percent say the threat requires military action now.

alive. He spent a year in Korea after the cease fire in a fairly high position in the US Army. He lived an interesting life (some of which he could talk about and some that he couldn't). He was not one to talk about himself so you always had to let him pick the subject matter of a conversation. The last time I visited him I was hoping that he would talk about his years in WWII (he participated in the Battan Death March and spend the war in a POW camp in Japan). He chose to talk about his time in Korea. He showed me his scrap books from the era. The North Koreans actually put a bounty out on his head. He understood them and he had a canny knack of predicting what they would do and they didn't like it. I would love to have been able to hear his anaylsis of what is going on.

It just happens to be life and death. Trump with his followers does not care who lives or dies they are convinced it will not be them.
