Former Trump Spox: Slavery Is Actually Part Of Americas 'Good History'

Former spokesperson for Donald Trumps presidential campaign, Katrina Pierson, appeared on Fox and Friends Monday morning to defend keeping Confederate statues on display as politicians and activists call for their removal, saying Americans love their good and bad history.

Those monuments have been there for a very long time and suddenly Nancy Pelosi wants to actually help these anarchists and these violent protesters tear down pieces of America, American culture and American history, she said. Americans actually love their history, their culture, good and bad, because it helps them learn and it helps keep people educated about why America is so great to begin with.

John Hopkins University professor Wendy Osefo, the other guest, pushed back, saying people should understand the actual history behind many of the Confederate monuments, which she said were erected after 1865 as a way for the Ku Klux Klan to revolt against African Americans gaining political power.

So this is not a symbol of patriotism. This is a symbol of hatred and division. And while it is a piece of American history, its not necessarily the good part of American history. Its actually nefarious, Osefo said, saying the statues should be placed in museums, not on state grounds.

It absolutely deserves a place because bad history is still good history for this country, Pierson said.

Clearly, one of the stupidest comments made.....................................................

" Americans actually love their history, their culture, good and bad, because it helps them learn and it helps keep people educated about why America is so great to begin with."

In my opinion, the civil war was not.."great" and did not make the U.S "great".. It was as ugly, mean, and vicious as any war. Killed 600,000..of our people..(more American deaths than WWI and WWII combined)

perpetuating the myth of preserving history by promoting white supremacy. How about putting up monuments to honor abolitionists, civil rights leaders, and other historical figures who did good things?

We have had many wars besides the civil war. How about war heroes who fought against Nazis and other enemies instead of against the United States?

On the one side is history, values, culture, education.

On the other side is Pelosi (They hear dominant woman). Surprised she left out Obama (powerful Black man), Soros (international Jew), Hillary (powerful woman), urban (black folk) and elites (anyone that speaks thoughtfully).

The stupidity of their arguments isn't as surprising as how many people fall for this intellectually bankrupt garbage.

Self-hating, disgusting, uneducated low-life spokespersons of tRumputin's, and as we know he has many. But then again and as I think about it, maybe she was incarcerated and too busy running afoul of the law during the times that she missed out on learning about our nation's hideous history of slavery, racism and treason (Succession) and she doesn't seem like the type to ever crack open a book or go seek out knowledge of ANY situation--she just speaks without educating herself or learning about a particular subject first--so of course she wouldn't know that there were parts of this nation's history that wasn't great at ALL, unless you were a rich, white, male land owner who was in possession of mis-treated human being called slaves who you were keen to use as free labor so you could KEEP your wealth on top of being a racist, evil POS. She wouldn't know that those statues/monuments that were erected and dedicated to people who were not only racist POS, but who were also guilty of treason and who wanted to keep slavery alive AND who wanted to succeed from the union with slaves in tow. They were a treasonous, murderous and rotten bunch, who wanted nothing to do with this country post-Reconstruction.

Nah, Katrina wouldn't know or care to know about that part of our nations not so "great" history
