New Jersey charity pulls out of event at Trump golf club

Source: The Hill

A New Jersey charity on Monday announced that it will no longer host an event at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, citing the recent fallout from the attack in Charlottesville, Va., earlier this month.

In a Facebook post, the United Way of Monmouth and Ocean Counties said it condemns “racism, bigotry and prejudice in all forms.”

“We strongly reject the divisive worldview of groups like the white nationalists and neo-Nazis that incited the violence in Charlottesville, VA,” the post reads. “Based on recent events, we have decided to relocate our upcoming event from Trump National Golf Club to a new venue which will be announced shortly.”

“We thank all of our supporters who stand with us to embrace ideas that unify us and make us stronger. To live better, we must Live United,” the organization wrote on its Facebook.

Of course, his thin skin also allows him to take umbrage with other issues. But if he sees one of his steams of money drying up, he might have a sad. Boo hoo, cry me a river.

would cancel the scheduled PGA Championship to be held there in 2022.

Maybe we should start a campaign to convince the PGA that it would be in their best interests to find another venue?

I know they schedule these events 8-10 years in advance, and it would be almost impossible to re-schedule it somewhere else, but the PGA should at least TRY TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE! Eh.....they're all rich RepubliKLANS anyway. We'd be beating a dead horse. These rich fucks always stick together. The management of the PGA, the players themselves, the golf course owners.......all loyal RepubliKLANS. Gotta' keep those taxes way down low, you know?
