Brennan's Warning: Some Lawmakers Didn't Get 'Gravity' Of Russian Meddling
Source: Talking Points Memo

Former CIA Director John Brennan warned his employees in an internal memo last December that some members of Congress did not understand and appreciate the importance of gravity of Russias interference in the 2016 presidential election, Buzzfeed News reported Thursday.
The memo, which Buzzfeed obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, did not mention the specific lawmakers who Brennan referred to by name. Three unnamed intelligence sources told the publication that the lawmakers in question were Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and John Cornyn (R-TX), a particularly close ally of the Trump administration.
In the months since President Donald Trump took office, both McConnell and Cornyn have continued to downplay Russias interference in the U.S. election and any possible assistance the Trump team may have provided for that effort.
Brennan testified in May on the collective assessment that he and other intelligence leaders reached about Russias brazen interference in the 2016 race through bots pushing fake news and the release of emails hacked from Democratic Party organizations and operatives.

or a derivative thereof used all over the place.
Looks like it became nouveau chic within the last half decade or so.
Although it irks me, I am going to borrow it here. Just once. (Holding my ears.)
Those named senators and Comey appear to be 'collaborators' regarding the GE interference/manipulation.

Paul Ryan is on tape telling his fellow republicans not to talk about Trump getting
$$$ from Russia. Something like hey we are family and we keep our secrets inside
our family. When asked about that quote Ryan's staff said he was only "joking."
It was a coup and we had treason.

The GOP has a fever - wasn't held accountable for Iraq lies. Fever needs to be broken or we are really not going to survive as a country in present form.
