Stephen King blocks Donald Trump from IT

Source: Bangor Daily News

Stephen King’s Twitter war with Donald Trump isn’t over yet.

After being blocked on Twitter by Trump in June, the famous horror writer got revenge on the President Thursday evening by declaring that he’d be returning the favor — by blocking Trump from seeing the upcoming film “IT” and television series “Mr. Mercedes,” both based on works by King.

“Donald Trump blocked me on Twitter. I am hereby blocking him from seeing IT or MR. MERCEDES. No clowns for you, Donald. Go float yourself,” King tweeted.

I love his loyalty to his Maine background and enjoy so many of his social references, since we're just a couple of years apart.

But he outdoes himself with his takedowns of 45.

SK ought to be in the Oval Office instead of the bloviating poseur.

I commented to him that he has been the one to help me learn to face horror in real life by seeing it in stories.
He has had some awful characters that remind me very much of this president. Part Randall Flagg and very much Greg Stillson.

That's the one that terrifies me. (I know Rennie is basically LePage, but he's also the Mango Mendacity.)

I would imagine he had a cheeky little smirk on his face as he said that. I find amusing and it totally fits the ridiculousness of the thing called Trump.

The clown's hair in It is reminiscent of Rump's.

I've been a big fan ever since Salem's Lot made me nail my crawl space shut.

I also want to see Mr. Mercedes. A mini-series is perfect for his books because you need more time often than a movie allows.

The scariest scene for me in Poltergeist was the grinning clown perched in the little kid's bedroom. And then... ("I hate you! I hate you!" )

Incidentally, Poltergeist's director Tobe Hooper died yesterday.
