Clinton: We made a person who committed sexual assault president

Source: MSN/The Hill

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton discussed the culture of sexual assault following a myriad of new sexual harassment and assault allegations against Hollywood film producer and longtime Democratic donor Harvey Weinstein. In an interview with the U.K.'s Channel 4 News on Saturday, Clinton said:

"Look, we just elected someone who admitted sexual assault to the presidency. So there's a lot of other issues that are swirling around these kinds of behaviors that need to be addressed," Clinton said when asked if she had heard rumors of Weinstein's behavior before the bombshell reports.

"I think it's important that we stay focused, and shine a bright spotlight, and try to get people to understand how damaging this is," she continued.

Trump faced major backlash during the presidential campaign when he was heard bragging about groping and kissing women on a leaked "Access Hollywood" tape from 2005.

Same with hating them welfare people, as long as they git their SNAP, WIC, housing subsidy and whatever else. though they may not have the emotional intelligence to know better. We just need to make sure we teach our daughters and granddaughters to be confident in themselves, have high self esteem and the moral conscience to know a man in power behaving in such predatory fashion is not appropriate. They also need to know better to avoid those types of men. Many girls at 18 -25, even older, are naive about the machinations of the corporate & political world. Parents really should talk to their girls about such things before sending them off to college.

She was being guided by her friend, Linda--who told her to "keep that dress."

It was a set up.

That's not to say that Bill wasn't stupid, he was. But there were people in the background telling the young woman what to do.

She was no innocent succumbing.

She's deliberately saying things to make the Republicans uncomfortable, because she can. They can't turn it around and blame her unless they address their own particular can of worms. In this case it's Trump's activity as a sexual predator, but it could be anything.

While Hillary was campaigning she held back on this stuff. But not any more.
