Anti- and pro-Trump protesters face off in downtown L.A. rally
Source: Daily News
A protest against President Donald Trump drew a group of counter-demonstrators to downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, Nov. 4, with the two groups kept apart by police.
The group Refuse Fascism started the demonstration at Pershing Square at 1 p.m. as part of an organized group of protests across the United States.
One anti-Trump protester was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department for repeated attempts to push through makeshift barricades set up to keep the groups separated. Another man was arrested after he failed to move out of the middle of the street, in the area between the demonstrators, despite repeated demands from police.
As of 2:30 p.m., the crowd numbered about 1,000 people, with most on the anti-Trump side.

(17,387 posts)I went to an anti-Trump rally and there were folks with nice stands and brochures promoting Cal-Exit. Likewise, some folks were distributing literature to join the Communist Party and start a revolution.
Bottom line: If they are promoting disunion, revolution, or disengagement, then they probably are knowingly or unknowingly taking their cues from the Russians.
The key to taking back our country is engagement and participation in Democracy, rather than taking part in efforts to undermine it.

(17,913 posts)and as often as possible. Rip the curtain away and call them what they are, both those duped by troll farms or intentional Kremlin mouth pieces like Stein. Another Brazile-esq load of bullshit comes along? Well, they're either a paid tool or duped fool. Either way, they are a threat to our democracy. A harsh, preconceived filter with which to judge information? Yes, but it develops an immunity to manipulation, since rational, critical thinking seems to be rare these days.
