Graham: Sessions needs to tell us everything he knows about Russia

Source: The Hill

BY JULIA MANCHESTER - 11/05/17 10:08 AM EST

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said on Sunday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions needs to return to the Senate Judiciary Committee to answer questions about alleged collusion between the Trump campaign after recent revelations suggest that Sessions' previous statements were false.

"Jeff, you need to tell us everything you know about Russia. So yeah, he probably should come back, and answer the question yet again 'did you know anything about an effort by the Trump campaign to meet with Russia, not just collude with Russia,'" Graham told Chris Wallace on "Fox News Sunday," issuing a direct appeal to the attorney general."This is getting a bit old with Jeff Sessions," he continued.

"I asked a question 'did anyone ever talk to you about talking with the Russians? I didn't ask about collusions. So we now know that somebody at a meeting, Mr. Papadopoulos, raised the idea of meeting with Putin. There's nothing wrong with Trump meeting with Putin if he wanted to it. It would be wrong to have the Russians help the Trump campaign," he said.

There most certainly is "something wrong" when you are a candidate for the highest office in the land with an agenda (and are not already part of any governing body in elected office like the federal/state/local legislatures or governors/mayors, etc). Try the Logan Act! Drumpf has dabbled over there regarding his real estate and entertainment venues, but his rhetoric during the campaign suggested doing things beyond that.

Your hands are far from clean, Linsdey. Your whole party knew and looked the other way.

and many other Republicans have been getting campaign dollars from one of Putin's favorite Oligarchs. It's difficult to make a lot of noise about Sessions when you're on the Kremlin's payroll. It sort of makes him look like a hypocrite, you know?

What a horrendous farce/tragedy that the top legal officer and supposed representative of "Justice" and the upholding of Constitutional law in this country cannot be trusted to even tell the truth under oath. So utterly depressing.

He’s notorious for making bold statements like this and then folding up like a cheap suit when it comes time to DO something like vote...
