Trump on Texas church shooting: 'May God be with people of Sutherland Springs'

Source: The Hill

BY BRANDON CONRADIS - 11/05/17 03:15 PM EST

President Trump on Sunday expressed his condolences to the victims of a mass shooting at a church in Texas.

First lady Melania Trump later tweeted a simple message in the wake of the shooting: "Our hearts are with Texas."

The two are currently in Japan as part of a five-nation, 12-day tour of Asia.

Local media reported on Sunday that a shooting had taken place at a church not far from San Antonio.

At least 20 people are dead, according to The New York Times.

the irony isn't lost on secular humanists. To Trump though? Nah.....just more lip service paid to no one in particular. But I'll bet someone still had to tell him to say it though.

and that's coming from somebody who looks forward to the downfall of this disgrace of a person.

There have been a lot of martyred Christians, the Roman Catholic church's pantheon of saints are full of them. Am I equating the victims of this violence to saints? No.
My point is that they are not exempt from people's prayers that G0d be with them.

trump, Gov. Gregg Abbott, Ted Cruz. What they won't 'fess up to is the obvious: they are PERFECTLY FINE with these mass shootings occurring in this country, day after day, year after year. They are COMPLETELY WILLING for innocent citizens to die en masse, so long as their open-and-easy right to all manner of firearms and accessories isn't impeded. Their utter refusal to do anything about the gun problem in this country is proof positive of this.

The same goes for our resident band of pro-gun enthusiasts. Shame on you.

...if God wasn't there with them then, where would he be? Or, if God was with them, it really didn't make a bit of difference, did it?

What an asshole that Orange Maggot and the rest of them are who can make such statements.

This was a Terrorist Attack and God has nothing to do with this and won't prevent it from happening again and again. It will stop when the fucking politicians finally stop being beholden to the Gun Lobby and finally start speaking out and making changes that ban assault weapons, bump stocks etc and stricter controls on who can purchase guns.

I am so disgusted and sick and angry after this latest gun massacre committed and the fucking politicians who talk about God or that it's not the time to talk about Guns and gun control.
