And it can be very situational, also.

For instance, in the NY neighborhood where I grew up, you might very well hear something like, "Oh, yeah, Frankie died of 'natural causes' - his heart stopped when the icepick entered it."

Its intent is to cause terrible suffering and send a message to others.

The hotel window thing draws too much attention.

My money is on "went out for cigarettes and never came back".

Sounds like Misfud misfired.

Gotta admit, I've found myself musing about that, regarding trump, if the "Russia thing" gets too hot for him, how low might he want to or try to go - to get rid of his accusers if he can't silence them, to make it all go away?

.... Putin would have made him, "gone missing." I still think some people like Flynn, Manafort,
Page, and even Kushner are on Putin's to see list.

Thanks for posting this non-video link. It gives more background detail than the video. IMO, most likely, the Russians and/or Trump considered Misfud a threat. I hope he is alive but I fear the worst. He is not the first to disappear and likely won't be the last.

Newsweek: "Within two weeks of joining Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, George Papadopoulos met a professor while traveling in Italy. Their encounter took place on March 14, 2016, after Trump had named Papadopoulos a foreign policy adviser earlier that month. The London-based professor apparently told Papadopoulos he had ties to Russian officials, and over the next weeks and months, the adviser spoke with campaign leaders about arranging a meeting with those officials."

But if what this suggests is true, the East River's okay.
