British lawmaker: Trump invite to visit UK should be withdrawn

BY REBECCA SAVRANSKY - 11/29/17 10:02 AM EST

British lawmaker Chuka Umunna called for President Trump's invite to visit the United Kingdom in 2018 to be withdrawn.

His call comes after Trump on Wednesday morning retweeted a series of videos that purported to show violent acts by Muslims, first sent out by the leader of an ultranationalist party in Great Britain.

"I don't think the president of the United States, a president that has not only promoted bigotry, misogyny and racism in his own country, I don't think he is welcome here," he said during an interview on Sky News.

"I think the invite that has been made to him to come to our country in early 2018 should be withdrawn." He accused Trump of normalizing hatred.

...on the condition that you replace 'Brits' with 'Adherents of the Cult of Brexit'?

May's brown nosing of Trump, so soon after he was inaugurated, was a humiliation we were all forced to share. Many of us were dead against it. It was only obligated by virtue of the suicidal Brexit vote.

My relative? told me before he voted that they didn't need the EU because they have the US and NATO. How's that working? I'm Thinking these Brexit people are stuck in the last century, like our Trumpsters, but unfortuntely we are not in the world of leaders like Churchill and Roosevelt now.

It was supposed to be a comedy, starting a war with Canada to stir up political approval. We are that bat shit crazy now. I'm sure Dotard wouldn't even know it was a comedy. The only things he thinks are funny are mean 2nd grade name calling jokes.
