The annual American Values Survey from the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) finds that 51 percent of women say if the 2018 midterm elections were held today, they would back the Democratic candidate.

Just 31 percent of women in the poll say they would favor the Republican candidate in their district. Men favor the Republican candidate over the Democratic candidate, but by the smaller margin of 43 to 36 percent.

In all, 44 percent of registered voters said they would support the Democratic candidate if the 2018 midterm elections were held today, compared with 37 percent who say they would vote for the Republican candidate.

The poll, released Tuesday, was conducted from Oct. 18 to Oct. 30 among 2,019 adults. The margin of error is 2.6 percent.

Or anyone who knows a woman, or has met a woman, or has ever heard of a woman.

Utterly baffling that the GOP can repeatedly get otherwise sentient entities to vote so pointedly and unambiguously against their own interests.

In my opinion votes in this last election were in fact compromised and I believe this is one demographic where they were.
