Poll: Trump's approval rating hits new low in Pew poll

Source: The Hill

BY BRANDON CARTER - 12/07/17 04:21 PM EST

A new poll released Thursday shows President Trump’s approval rating has hit a new low.

The Pew Research Center poll finds that just 32 percent of Americans approve of how Trump is handling his job as president. Sixty-three percent of Americans say they disapprove.

Trump’s 32-percent approval rating is a new low in the Pew poll. The group’s most recent survey, conducted in October, found Trump held a 34 percent approval rating after three consecutive surveys dating back to February measured his approval rating at 39 percent.

The 63 percent of Americans who disapprove of Trump’s job as president is the highest Pew has measured in the poll, topping a previous high of 59 percent in Pew’s October survey.

I was listening to a Katy Couric podcast the other day with my son; she had conservative Norman Ornstein on. Ornstein said the 35% base still supporting el Trumpo constitutes 65% of the Republican vote! 65%!!

Turnout was over 89% and the Nazi party (in 1933) got about 43% of the vote. Maybe the 30% number was from an earlier year election.

Wait until the economy tanks. We are overdue for a recession, and their tax scam will push us over the edge. Trump will be in the teens.

He'll get his tax reform. He's changing education in a way we can not rebuild. He has a Supreme Court that supports a Muslim Ban which means we really are Hitlerian now. He's fomenting a fire in the Middle East and probably hoping for an attack on our shores that will allow a military crack down. He's getting rid of net neutrality and climate change policies.

He's already created structural changes that will take a generation to turn around, if ever.

He has the RW power elite working darkly and endlessly for their policies and they give a contemptuous flying fuck for the people being measured in polls. They don't need them.

They are doing everything they want and if they lose Trump as the figure head—it doesn't matter. It's about the structural dismantlement of democracy and they have that well under way.

And Trump will likely be making additional Supreme Court appointments, resulting in a hateful, bigoted, reactionary rightwing Court lasting decades.

This disaster would be taking place regardless the Republican president in office.

I don't trust any of these polls.

This Racist/Facist prick has tapped into something dark that the polls can't show.
Racists and Facists aren't going to identify themselves by telling who they'll vote for in any poll.

We need to register as many Dems as possible!
Stop believing in polls and just work to elect as many Dems as we can.

The only vote we should be focused on is the one that puts one of ours in office and that poll is done one time each Nov.

Believing in polls is what got us here in the first place..NEVER will I fall for that crap again.
