Joe Walsh has had it with the Robert Mueller bashing over at Fox News.

The former GOP Rep. and current radio host — hardly a friend of the left — tore into Fox News on Twitter Friday for what he views to be “despicable” attacks on the credibility of special counsel Mueller.

“This attack by @FoxNews & Republicans on Robert Mueller’s integrity is despicable,” Walsh wrote. “And don’t tell me you’re just attacking the investigation, not Mueller. Bullshit. It’s HIS investigation. When u call it a witchhunt, you’re blaming him.”

Bob Mueller has always put America first.

Don't know if I have ever given him credit for anything but he gets a high five for this. We need all the help we can get as Fox has really ramped up the hits on Mueller trying to discredit him.

I just find it hard to believe a guy like him could have such a lucid moment without getting something out of it.

10. The problem is that it is not that black and white.

The FBI is and has been problematic. They have been known to spy on Americans. I think they still do. They set people up for terrorism charges on the flimsiest of excuses (pretty darn close to entrapment, in fact). Etc.

But just as the FBI (and the US as a whole) is not 100% good and pure as the driven snow, Russia is not 100% evil. We are all adults; we can acknowledge that we do not live in a black and white world. Everything, including our government and everyone else's, is neither all good nor all bad.

Save that argument for something less important. Mueller currently needs all the support he can get.

All of a sudden people are bending over backwards to praise the FBI for no good fucking reason EXCEPT that certain people on the other side decided to denigrate them. In BOTH cases, the truth is that both sides are wrong here. It's neither good nor bad all the time.

I'm seeing a lot of knee-jerk defenses of organizations we (meaning liberals) normally would criticize. I'm pointing out that that kind of thing is not rational.
