Ryan Pushes Trump to Follow Tax Win With U.S. Welfare Revamp

Republicans want to channel momentum from the GOP’s victory on taxes into a push to overhaul the nation’s welfare programs, though some of President Donald Trump’s advisers prefer a less controversial infrastructure plan at the top of his agenda.

House Speaker Paul Ryan regards 2018 as a chance to fulfill the ambitions he brought to Congress 20 years ago: reshaping the social safety net for the poor and disabled, as well as programs including food stamps and Medicaid. He said Wednesday he’s focused on getting people from welfare to work.

“People want able bodied people who are on welfare to go to work, they want us to get people out of poverty, into the workforce,” Ryan said in a Fox News interview late Wednesday. “That’s good for them, that’s good for the economy, that’s good for the federal budget.”

A welfare revamp is one of two top potential legislative initiatives for Trump -- along with the major infrastructure program he promoted in his presidential campaign -- according to senior administration officials and outside advisers. The administration has yet to reach a decision on which objective to put first, or even whether to choose between them.

I think we all should have the benefit of knowing how many million$ will end up in congresscritters' pockets. I can't imagine they can enjoy Christmas knowing there are children who no longer have medical support because of them.

They have won the Shame Award for 2017.

Hey Eddie - Did you fucking miss the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act that was put into place in 1996? Yeah you did because you fucking weren't in office when Clinton signed it.

That LAW had vocational training attached that YOUR party continually eliminates by cutting any and every program that has to do with education.

of the Federal budget goes to these programs? I'll bet it's minor compared to $$$$$$$$$ going to the war dept, tax cuts for the rich, etc.

But pukes don't want us asking that question. They just want us at each other's throats.

Oh, and translation for "People want" from little eddie munster's mouth is "The kook brothers and other crackpot billionaire libertarians want".

Disgusting. Oh, and smug white workers who think this is a good idea because let's kick around the poors--just wait until your job gets eliminated by automation. Nothing will be left to help you.

She's terrified that if they take away her child's CHIP benefits they'll have to go on food stamps to survive. Silly woman. Ryan can assure her she needn't worry about that.

this man is going to show our solution for your hedonist psychopathic reform, you really are a fuck wad.

Just the first words on the google search says everything when you see the link:

https://www.randybryceforcongress.com/

"My values are my neighbors' values, and we know that Washington has gotten way off track. Whether it's healthcare or jobs, national security or education, our democracy or the environment – there's not one issue where Paul Ryan and Donald Trump are headed in the right direction. It's time for a change in Congress."

Did you by chance there Ayn Rand look at the poll from Dec. 11, your behind by 10 points to Randy Byrce

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/12/11/1723400/-New-Poll-Randy-Bryce-50-Paul-Ryan-40

And if this any indication from Politco, you, might say your fucked Ryan, you have less than 300 days to turn these numbers around, and with your coming attack on "welfare reform" and this tax plan that just fucked 83% of population making less than $75,000 dollars, and no coverage for health care, nothing for roads, or education, health care, etc-----------------your fucked Ryan...............

https://www.politico.com/story/2017/12/10/paul-ryan-reelection-democrat-internal-poll-randy-bryce-288639

So in closing Ryan, when you get fired next November, and we take back Congress, we are going to pass a law that bars Congressional staff and elected officials to be lobbyists for 10 years..............FUCK YOU

So when you spend your life's savings on a tetanus shot and you're laid off from your job so your corporation can secure more profits, capture and devour the people who made America great again.

This country is armed to the teeth, and you want someone's granny to die cause she can't find a job? Or, that drug user, no food stamps for the kids cause she/he can't work? Most of these people without lots of assistance, will not be able to work.

However, they aren't completely stupid. They will figure out who trying to kill them.

Won't take much pretend blue blood to spill before they all back track. Think idiots. This has all been done before and we're not a beaten down population like Russia's. We blow each other up for no damn reason now, you're going to give them a reason?
