Man accused of plotting terror attack on SF's Pier 39

Source: SF Chronicle

Federal authorities on Friday charged a 26-year-old Modesto man with planning a terror attack on San Francisco’s Pier 39 after an undercover investigation that unfolded in recent weeks.

Everitt Aaron Jameson, a tow-truck driver and discharged Marine, was charged in a criminal complaint filed at the U.S. District Court in Sacramento with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization — in this case the Islamic State.

“Jameson has espoused radical jihadi beliefs, including authoring social media posts that are supportive of terrorism, communicating with people he believes share his jihadi views and offering to provide services to such people, including in the form of his presumably employer-provided tow truck in service of the ‘cause,’” wrote FBI Agent Christopher McKinney in an affidavit.

Jameson named Pier 39 as a possible target for a terrorist attack because he “knew that it was a heavily crowded area,” according to the complaint.

As a nearly life-long Californian I welcome everyone in our great state, from the High Sierra to the Pacific, and from the Mojave Desert to the Trinity Alps. Sure, people in Modesto and the Central Valley have a different outlook than those in the Bay Area (where I'm from), but we all contribute to this wonderful place. No, I wasn't born and raised here, but California has welcomed me as her own.

Very different parts of California...... also lived in the Sierra Foothills, near the beach in OC, and on the beach in Coronado... Love California. The only commonality is "We're all Californians" (except for the Trinity folk who want to be part of Jefferson)

drumpf is totally ok with killing, even closed the task force on domestic terrorism because he didn't want them racist Nazi white kids hurt, they're too much like him, and besides he agrees with them and their methods. I'm sure he's also going to use companies to build the wall or provide materials in which he has a stake or one that gave him a huge bribe. He never does anything that doesn't benefit him personally.

Person 1: In San Francisco? Why stop him?

Person 2: LOL Same thing I was thinking.

Person 3: Hey now. We’re not all liberals
Person 3 is apparently a former local resident who now lives in SF

Person 2: Well you're a little slow at converting them ya know.

Me: So you advocate terrorism? Remember your hatred when you pretend to be a Christian on Monday.

The difference between Liberals and Conservatives is that Liberals to not cheer the deaths of their fellow human beings, while Conservatives mock Liberals for their compassion.

I don't know what god you pray to, but it sure as hell isn't Jesus Christ.

These are the idiot racist fuckheads of Trump country. They are a virulent cancer, and they do not want or deserve our outreach, our empathy, or our understanding.

and let him blow the thing up. Then the city could build low-income housing in its place. People would have great views too.
