Lieu: Trump tweets about McCabe 'gift that keeps on giving' to Mueller

Source: The Hill

BY BRETT SAMUELS - 12/24/17 0

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) on Sunday suggested President Trump's recent Twitter rant about Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe is actually a "gift" to special counsel Robert Mueller.

Mueller is conducting an investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, a wide-ranging investigation that many Trump critics hope will lead to obstruction of justice charges for the president. The probe has thus far netted two indictments and two guilty pleas.

Trump has in recent days torn into the FBI, specifically targeting Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. Trump has gone after McCabe over his wife’s ties to prominent Democrats.

the patriots like McCabe and Comey and Mueller are all patriots, and the deplorables will say they are not and they will back their disagreement up with guns in the streets.

Inevitable I guess. Putin will help them.

"we just lost WW 3!"

Now we are experiencing the depression of the defeated. May not admit it but can you give a better explanation of the current state of American politics and the emotional malaise being experienced by so many?

Civil war, WW3.

We are all thinking along the same lines.
A battle for America.

And we have suffered a major setback and are all depressed and disheartened.

241 years ago almost to the day, Gen. Washington crossed the Delaware River
on Christmas day, in a victorious surprise attack against Hessian forces. This victory gave the colonists a big boost, as they felt the continental army could not defeat the powerful British and allied forces.

Maybe we will get a boost soon as well.

...the ultimate power of money over "democracy" and the inability of our government to provide for equality and prosperity for all. and when I say "government" I mean the two-party system, and the failure of both democrats and republicans to govern responsibly. We are being left with little choice but revolution (God help us).

I am again recommending large scale, ongoing massive demonstrations. Someone has got to sound the call before it is too late.

with weapons. Trump only has so many cards to play, and playing them he is.
And yes I would assume with the help of Putin, stirring up trouble on social media.

Trump does not care if he harms the country, the only thing that matters is saving his own skin and pocketbook.

It is a political one. Congress, not the courts, will determine the future for 45.

As long as the tea-party BELIEVES they can continue to triangulate, they believe they can hold power and protect their President. The 2018 mid terms will look much different as we get closer to it. What now looks like a catastrophe for the GOP will be much closer than it now appears.

Having seen the fruits of their investments, the Kochs, Mercers, Adelscheims, and Waltons will double down to expand their new-found leverage. Voters will continue to get information through their pre-selected filters.

Too early for the victory dance. There is a lot of work to do......particularly in the trenches at the state legislature level.

Is that a good, life-long career public servant, McCabe, may very well lose the pension that he deserves because chumpy is a vulgar and vindictive asshole. He is a person, not another brick in the Russian puppet's cell block.

I hope all of the evidence leads to treason and espionage indictments, and that he's be publicly executed in Lafayette Park, across from the White House. Public hanging would be nice, but finding a rope strong enough to support the weight of that fat tub of goo might present a problem. It really wouldn't matter how they do it, as long as it's done. Trump's miserable life in exchange for the millions he'll kill kicking people off of the ACA is not a fair exchange. Those other people's lives were worth something.
