Despite waving a big gay flag, President Donald Trump hasnt turned out to be an advocate for LGBTQ rights with his judicial nominations.
WASHINGTON ― Howard Nielson fought for Californias short-lived ban on same-sex marriage, argued that a gay judge should be disqualified from overseeing a case challenging that law, and defended a former Justice Department colleague who wrote a controversial and now-rescinded memo authorizing the CIAs use of torture.
Now Nielson is President Donald Trumps nominee to a lifetime seat on the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah. On Wednesday, he insisted to the Senate Judiciary Committee that his record shouldnt call into question his ability to be fair-minded.

From Wiki article on Sen Booker. ...."On October 21, 2013, 12:01 am, the date when same-sex marriage became legal in New Jersey, Booker began performing same-sex and opposite-sex marriages in New Jersey." And I'm suspect DiFi isn't going to be an easy yes vote.
