U.S. Private Sector Added 234,000 Jobs in January
Economists had expected the addition of 193,000 jobs

Hiring at private U.S. employers grew more than expected in January, according to a report.
Firms across the country added 234,000 workers in January, according to payroll processor Automatic Data Processing Inc. and forecasting firm Moodys Analytics.
Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal had expected the addition of 193,000 jobs.

And for some reason, these numbers never match the DOL job numbers!

That second chart makes ADP and BLS look mighty close, but note that the divisions on the y-axis are 200,000 jobs apart. If you were to zoom in to a closer view, the disagreements would become easier to spot.

Same thing every month.
Although 'in the ball park' seems to satisfy 'the investor class' today.
Why not? They've never had so many 'chips' to play with. More coming in February!
