Source: MarketWatch, MSNBC Breaking News
Companies may be starting to rethink their ties to the National Rifle Association in the wake of last weeks massacre at a Florida high school, with a major bank and car-rental giant announcing Thursday they were dropping partnership programs with the NRA.
First National Bank of Omaha, the nations largest privately owned bank, said Thursday it will not renew its contract with the NRA for a branded Visa card.
Customer feedback has caused us to review our relationship with the NRA, the bank said on its Twitter account.

(641 posts)insurance companies to refuse to insure property, we'd get somewhere. No homeowners or vehicle insurance would cause the banks to not make loans. Or exercise their right for force place insurance (read: very expensive). Rental property owners would not be able to rent to those owning firearms. And I am not talking true hunting rifles or pistols that shoot 6 or less bullets, I am talking firearms that have no business being owned by non-military/non-law enforcement.

(11,885 posts)We may see a lot more than we think as the NRA is linked to Russia, and how it was corrupted by them for trump. Maybe time for a better gun association group without enemy Putin involved. Wouldn't be surprised if a more ethical group starts one up . The NRA is dirty, and doesn't represent protecting Americans, just selling more guns for profits over people.
