Ricketts to NRA: 'We want your convention in Nebraska'

LINCOLN — A day after a major Omaha bank dropped the NRA as a customer, Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts urged the gun-rights organization to bring its convention to the state.

"We want your convention in Nebraska. Nebraskans love our constitutional rights," the Republican governor tweeted Friday morning.

The tweet came a day after Omaha-based First National Bank announced that it was severing a business relationship with the NRA.

The governor's post prompted dozens of responses and "likes" on Twitter.

All apologies to anyone here from Nebraska, but it isn't known as a hot-bed of entertainment and night life. I'm sure that decision will have an impact on attendance to the grand NRA kkkonvention.

8. what does a right winged lobbying organization (borderline terrorist organization) like the NRA

care about constitutional rights? They care about helping their US sponsors sell weapons of mass destruction, and helping their Russian
sponsors launder campaign contributions.

They don't even care about the majority of their members.
