Maxine Waters: Stormy Daniels will 'get' Trump if Mueller investigation doesn't

Source: The Hill

BY BRETT SAMUELS - 03/11/18 03:34 PM EDT

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said Sunday that President Trump’s alleged affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels will be his downfall if special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation isn’t.

“It seems that he’s identifying and picking up more and more women that he’s attacking. This is not only typical of him, this is what this con man does. He diverts attention from himself by attacking others,” Waters told MSNBC.

“But this business about Stormy is not going to go away,” she added. “If for some reason Mueller does not get him, Stormy will. So we know that this is going to go on.”

on many things. We don't know if Trump has been tied directly to treasonous activities, or if that gang that doesn't know which end of the gun to hold somehow managed to keep Trump legally firewalled. Seems incredibly unlikely, doesn't it?

But in any case, Trump is a criminal and has a pattern of breaking significant laws even while president, and that can be proven many different ways. Question is, apres Mueller, le ...what?

with the state department sent out a memo some months ago warning that no explanation could be found for the disastrous dismantling of our state department offices and withdrawal from involvements around the planet -- except treason. She didn't make the charge directly, but the memo was meant to sound an alarm and it was strongly implied.

Still, there's quite a pattern built up already just from what we know about.

Last summer our Sen. Kaine used the word about Jr's activities that we knew about, but mostly they seem to be standing back on this, not weakening the impact of traitorous activities in the public mind by many months of discussion before they can be acted on.

Mueller must go all the way.

The systemic corruption is mostly in the RepubliCONmen Party.

Most of the remaining systemic corruption is due to the pervasive powerful influence of money and a task that broad is beyond even Mueller. However if Mueller doesn't smash the mess surrounding Trump and polluting the GOP, then the broader task will be almost impossible.

Like it or not, there are women out there who WILL go for a guy like that.
be it an athlete, entertainer, politician, businessman, etc, some will go after one of those and if he was an average Joe at the bar they'd never get a 2nd look

with anything if the girlfriend is beautiful. The status of being seen with a pretty woman is more important than having a really good relationship.

I think Trump is like that. Looks are that matters to him.

I wondered how these old rich guys really feel when they have the hot, much younger girlfriend/wife? Do they wonder if she's being faithful or if she's getting with some hot young guy around her age? or do they care more about having the arm candy to show off at the club?

And I'm not saying that younger women cant fall in love with a much older guy, but its highly unlikely that one with the looks of Stormy in '06 (or whatever yr it was) would pay ANY attention to a man of the same age making 40k a yr.

Looks matter to the old guy & cash matters to the young girl.

And again I'm GENERALIZING here, not saying they're ALL that way.

Her mother emphasized to her daughters that money was power and to go for the wealthy, powerful man for a husband. I think they just accepted that men in that category would have affairs. Just look the other way.

It said that Jackie was well aware that Jack had other women and she just accepted that. She hoped that once they had a family that he would become more of a family man.

I would never be able to accept that but obviously there are women who do.

where we have elected officials counting on a porn star to "get" the president of the Ubtied States?
I mean, yes, he's a rotten excuse of a human being and doesn't deserve the office he holds or any of the support he has. But it's important to step back and look at the rediculousness of it all.

When Bill Clinton was actually cheating on Hillary with an intern in the Oval Office we all said that what happens between two consenting adults is their private business. I don't see why that changes just because it's Trump.

If the idea is that the settlement payment was somehow inappropriate, who knows, campaign finance infractions aren't typically impeachable offenses and their story will be that the lawyer did it on his own with his own money.
