Fox News Institutes Virtual Blackout Of Todd Akin’s ‘Legitimate Rape’ Comments

Source: thinkprogress.org

<snip>

The network didn’t air the remarks until 12:10 PM — showing the the clip well after Republicans (including GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney) harshly condemned the GOP Senate candidate from Missouri. Below is a comparison of cable news mentions of “Akin” from Monday at 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM:

They spun the Diaper-sex-with-Hookers Doodley Doo of a glaringly moralistic & prominent Republican Senator.
They are spinning the Nude Republican Sea of Galilee Debauchery tale.
And they will spin this ugly Republican rape truth, too.
It's what Fox (R) does: screw with the truth.

Even rabidly conservative democrats would not be that stupid and/or go that far. People know it.

Given their refusal to address or cover the story, you have to take this as part of an ongoing effort to support his campaign.

you could take that a number of ways. Was KKKarl loaded, as in drunk, or was the segment loaded with lies?

but then again maybe the idea of Cheney being loaded is to scary even for them especially if it also involves a loaded gun and hunting.

Nothing at all mentioned. No spin, nothing. I was shocked, but since I can never stand more than 2 minutes of that asshat, I guess I am just naive as to how really full of shit he is.
