In fundraising speech, Trump says he made up facts in meeting with Justin Trudeau

President Trump boasted in a fundraising speech Wednesday that he made up facts in a meeting with the leader of a top U.S ally, saying he insisted to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that the United States runs a trade deficit with its neighbor to the north without knowing whether or not that was the case.
“Trudeau came to see me. He’s a good guy, Justin. He said, ‘No, no, we have no trade deficit with you, we have none. Donald, please,’” Trump said, mimicking Trudeau, according to audio obtained by The Washington Post. “Nice guy, good-looking guy, comes in – ‘Donald we have no trade deficit.’ He’s very proud because everybody else, you know, we’re getting killed. ...
“So he’s proud. I said, ‘Wrong Justin, you do.’ I didn’t even know. ... I had no idea. I just said ‘You’re wrong.’ You know why? Because we’re so stupid. … And I thought they were smart. I said, ‘You’re wrong Justin.’ He said, ‘Nope we have no trade deficit.’ I said, ‘Well in that case I feel differently,’ I said ‘but I don’t believe it.’ I sent one of our guys out, his guy, my guy, they went out, I said ‘check because I can’t believe it.’
‘Well, sir, you’re actually right. We have no deficit but that doesn’t include energy and timber … And when you do, we lose $17 billion a year.’ It’s incredible.”

Then it must be true, even if he knows it’s not or even if he knows that he doesn’t know the facts as in this case!!
That would mean Trump is a liar.
They all know it. It's only the easily fooled American voters who don't know it.
He knows that he is a liar and is known as one. So, he is admitting that he made up something in order to show the world, that he understands he lied and is admitting it....Why?
His reputation as a liar is a reason that the republican lost the election Tuesday. So, yesterday he admits that he did lie..(once) . He seems to admit that .. "He lied once." and that is quite an admission coming from him. He thinks he is "coming clean" by admitting that.
..Still he really doesn't get it. He would have to admit to lying a whole lot, and apologize for it. From what I read this is not an apology. So why say this Wednesday? Tuesday night his advisors told him about how his lies destroyed the chances of the republican in Tuesday's election. In a district that was a sure republican win.. ..
...Now he thinks he has come clean about his lying. He has not apologized, has he? For all the other lies?.. But that is why I think this was said yesterday. He did admit that he lied once, and that is going to clear up the rest. (so you see, I told the truth, now I got a clean slate, and can start over..correct?)

....Well....no.. That thinking is absurd and stupid. But that is his thinking in my opinion..Just an opinion on this ridiculous statement ....
